Hasty Generalization

1. This fallacy appeared in a sports blog on bleacher report in regards to Notre Dame football players that were seen drinking and photographed. This blogger was giving his own personal thoughts.
2. The blogger said, in response to the drinking, "lets accept the reality that all college kids drink."
3. This is a hasty generalization for the obvious reason that he stated that ALL college kids drink, when in reality all college kids do not drink, but he worded his statement like it was a universal truth.
4. I would fix this fallacy by rewording the statement by using "a good amount," or "a large number" instead of all.
